Description
A painting from my Painting II class.
The project was 'Riffing on the masters'; we take a famous piece of art done by a master and reinterpret it.
My first attempt failed, I spent a whole month fighting with it before I talked with my teacher and we both thought it best I restart.
So I did.
This image is biased off of Raphael's Lady and the Unicorn, placing myself (at age 3) in place of the woman originally featured in the portrait.
I am really happy with how the whole image came together.

Well done Ishaway! I knew you could pull this one off. I love the bright colours; they seem a lot more childlike than Raphael's, and so match your remake well!
