Dragon Slayer by Ishaway Dragon Slayer by Ishaway
My chosen for this month in the Equinexchange, Fahren. She is a kick-ass character! And so much fun to draw <3 after I got her this is the image I got in my head. Dragon slayer <3 Unicorns do it.

I just hope I got her markings right :/ Most of it was drawn away from the computer so I think I did mess up her feathers.

Time Taken: 3 hours 40 minutes
-Cotman Watercolors
-Prismacolor fine liners 01 and 005
-Prismacolor pencils
-Done on 9x12 Strathmore Smooth Bristol

I apologize if this offends anybody, but I have the inclination that an actual dragon, not a baby dinosaur with a cigarette lighter in its mouth, would annihilate this character.

No, no reason to get offended over mythological things.

This can be your opinion, unasked for and unsolicited, but your opinion none the less.

I realized that imagery was there after I finished.
There is not enough images of unicorns goring things I think.

She's definitely cooler than your typical unicorn :P

Though she definitely has the size advantage here!

One thing I'd suggest is more contrast between your highlights and shadows. You might also want to darken the blood some, it's very subtle (unless that was your intent).
